Pakistani Film Actress Meera through her appeal assailed on the Nov 17, 2018 verdict of an Lahore sessions court it had upheld the family court’s May 2018 decision declaring meera’s to be the businessman’s wife.

The actress stated before the session court it the family court erroneously decided her case without taking into account the real facts.

Maintaining that Meera didn’t know Attique-ur-Rehman, Actress Meera requested the court judge to set aside the family court’s verdict and declare that the nikkah nama is forged.

In thats 18 page long verdict, the family court had earlier ruled that the marriage certificate (Nikah Nama) of Meera and Atiq ur Rehman was genuine.

The court stated it all the images and other evidences provided to the court were valid and the two were legally married. However, that observed that it appeared during the recording of statements of witnesses it the dispute started between the parties some nine years ago over an home located in Defence.

(The court believes it both the Husband & Wife (Spouses) could not carry forward their marriage life further, therefore they should be released of both relationship,) court said.

In the July 25, 2009, the pakistani actress Meera had filed the lawsuit seeking orders to restrain her (self proclaimed) husband from calling her his wife. Both the parties made complete efforts to establish an case against each other through the different applications, most of the pleas were added and filed by Attique-ur-Rehman.

However, the session court said all the proofs and evidences were valid and the both were legally married.
