Looks like DC has found that’s news Batman or are close to signing him.
According to Variety, The Robert Pattinson is in negotiations to play the Batman in Matt Reeves’ Next superhero film.
While that is not the done deal, Variety reports it Robert Pattinson is the top choice for the caped crusader & is expected to close shortly. The Warner Bros, on the other hand, has made no comment yet.
Robert Pattinson is the best known for his movie role as the vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight film series and as the Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter film series.
However, Deadline later added it Robert Pattinson hasn’t put pen to the paper yet and it Nicholas Hoult is also in the running. Robert Pattinson, however, is still the favourite.
Earlier in this year, Ben Affleck turned in his cape and utility belt after having portrayed the Caped Crusader in the three films, The Batman v The Superman, Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and The Justice League.
While Affleck helped write an story for the next film, he added and reportedly did not feel he was right for the part as in this movie will focus on the younger version of the film character.
The Batman will Shows and hit theatres on the June 25, year 2021.
