Dur-e-Fishan Saleem Biography:

Dur-e-Fishan Saleem, a rising Pakistani actress, has made significant strides in Urdu television. Best known for her role in Hum TV’s Dil Ruba, she has managed to captivate audiences with her acting prowess. She received a nomination for Best Emerging Talent at the Lux Style Awards, showcasing her potential as an artist. Fishan is also recognized for her notable work in Bharaas and Pardes.

She was born on January 14, 1996, in Lahore, Dur-e-Fishan Saleem’s father, Saleem-ul-Hassan, directed and produced many television serials for Pakistan Television (PTV) under his own production house, Digital Media, in the year of 2000s. She completed her education in Lahore before obtaining a degree in LLB from Universal College London in 2020. With acting as her passion, she moved to Karachi in 2019 to pursue her career.

Fishan made her acting debut in Momina Duraid’s Dil Ruba, where she played a supporting role. She then starred in Bharaas as the female protagonist opposite Omer Shehzad and Furqan Qureshi, but unfortunately, these dramas did not propel her career forward. Saleem’s career picked up momentum when she portrayed Aimem in Marina Khan’s Directional Pardes, and also played a CSS officer in Momina Duraid’s Juda Huway Kuch Is Tarhan.

However, her claim to fame came with her performance in the dramatic Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi. Directed by Ahmed Bhatti, she starred as Mahek Shamsher opposite Danish Taimoor. The drama has been recognized as one of the highest-rated and viewed serials on YouTube during its runtime period, despite receiving mixed reviews from audience and critics.
